The Foreign Minister, Olta Xhaçka, reacted after the statements of the British Minister of Immigration, Robert Jenrick, who expressed himself with the phrase "find the Albanians, stop them, take them to the airport and return them to Tirana ".

Xhaçka emphasized that she is shocked by the language used against Albanians.

"Extremely shocked when I hear a Minister of State responsible for immigration use such language just for a few votes. "Find the Albanian, stop the Albanian"! A verbal lynching of an entire nation in a language that sounds like the minister is announcing the open season for Albanians just a few weeks after the Joint Communiqué between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania and that of Great Britain where they appreciated the role of the Albanian diaspora in Britain and its important contribution to the culture, economy and society of both countries.
