The Central Election Commission, after administering the information related to the May 14 local elections, has concluded that not all municipalities have fulfilled their obligations. The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, made this known through a post on social networks. 

Celibashi calls on these municipalities to take immediate measures to fulfill their obligations and to send the maps of the voting centers electronically.

Full reaction:

Following the cooperation and communication on the organization of the election process dated #14MAJ2023, the CEC has managed the information received electronically and by post for the voting centers and for the publication of the extract of the electoral components, from which it appears that not all municipalities have fulfilled their obligation.

Being in excess of any deadline, it is requested that the municipalities which have not yet fulfilled the above legal obligation take measures IMMEDIATELY and fulfill their obligations. Also, at the same time, the electronic sending of the maps of the voting centers to the email address: [email protected]
