The deputy of the Democratic Party, Dashnor Sula, reacted after the government's decision to suspend the Price Boards.

Through a post on Facebook, Sula stated that this move by the government comes after the Constitutional Court set the date for the review of the case, according to which, it would declare the establishment of the boards illegitimate.

He adds that these boards should not have been created because they did not protect the interests of the citizens, but according to him they have served the interests of oligarchs and governors.

In September of last year, when together with my colleague Dhurata Çupi on behalf of the opposition we addressed the Constitutional Court against the price boards, I apologized to the citizens for not doing so before. We should have been faster in protecting the citizens from this government that only puts its hands in their pockets.

The minister announced last night the suspension of the price boards. In fact, these boards should not have been created because they do not protect the interests of the citizens. They consist of businessmen and government officials. There is no one to protect the interests of the citizens.

For about a year, they put their hands in the citizens' pockets every day, making life difficult for them. The government would continue to do it together with the oil oligarchs. The minister would not have announced the suspension if we DP deputies had not filed the complaint in the Constitutional Court.

Now that the constitutionalist has set the review date and will surely call the boards unconstitutional and expose them as thieves, the government makes the next move to hide. I will undo the boards before the court pronounces itself so that the latter does not meet as the object will be missing.

At a time when the board has not met for three weeks, while the price on the stock market has decreased significantly, it is clear that this move by the government does not come as a will to help the citizens, but to avoid the "slap" of anti-constitutionality and robbery with VKM .

However, I feel good that with the determination to help each other as citizens, we achieved a "victory" for undoing the abusive boards, and I wish that the prices of fuel and food will decrease.
