"There are one, two or three people who kick themselves and play Edi Rama's game. They are in the function of Edi Rama to annihilate the PD. They represent nothing but the interests of Edi Rama and theirs". These are the words of the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, about the situation of clashes within the party that is still going on. Berisha is convinced that this is a game played by Prime Minister Edi Rama through influencing the courts.
"The court of this country has decided for the December 11 Assembly. There is no place in the world where that decision is not recorded in the register except in Tirana by order of Edi Rama. It is a final decision and is automatically recorded in the register. It is the law that when societies have decided that associations and parties should be registered in court, they should be free and not in the ministries. This is the difference between free and undemocratic countries. In non-democratic countries, they are registered in the ministry and not in court, while in free countries, associations and parties are registered in court," said Berisha in an interview on Syri TV.
According to him, Rama's goal is to annihilate the DP.
"Everything is in violation of any law, the rule is an attempt by Rama to annihilate PD and pluralism. It is a fierce enemy of this party and pluralism. No sir, the court has decided, that decision can never be stopped to be recorded" - says Berisha who then comments on the initiative of MP Ervin Salianji to dismiss Enkelejd Alibeaj.
"Sali Berisha will accept what the PD MPs accept", Berisha answers briefly and then does not spare the accusations against Alibeaj.
"It has nothing to do with January of last year. Alibeaj is a wretch abused to the core by Rama and conducted in the most disgusting way in every session by Taulant Balla. That's it. It's not worth talking about. He was used by them in every case. The opposition is facing Edi Rama. Alibeaj is a wretch who is badly taken advantage of by him. We have the problem with Edi Rama, not with anyone else", said Berisha.
