The 32nd anniversary of DP in Durrës, Berisha: Monism today is worse than
Sali Berisha

Albania was destined to remain the Cuba of the Adriatic, to remain the shining beacon of destructive socialism, but the democratic revolution took place without international support. This is how the leader of the DP Sali Berisha addressed the democrats at the ceremony of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the DP in Durrës, as he praised the role of the Hungarian ambassador in Tirana, the only one who supported the Albanian uprising at that time.

"The establishment of DP and its placement at the head, in the leadership of the anti-communist movement, was an extraordinary development for Albania and Albanians. Whoever returns to that time in his memory, whoever reads today about that time, would find that Albania was destined to remain the Cuba of the Adriatic, to remain a shining beacon of destructive socialism. On July 2, thousands of young people, with epic courage, brought down the Berlin Wall in Tirana. But, in that peaceful uprising, the man who played the most important role was the diplomat who performed the functions of the German ambassador, Werner Dol. He writes that the governments did not agree, Albania was expected to remain as it was. Of course he did not listen to the governments, he was a great diplomat, who did everything to support the Albanians in that uprising.

According to him, the revolution did not stop even though it took place in the conditions of any kind of international support.
"This revolution was the last in the revolutions of the communist countries, but again it took place in the conditions of no international support. In December 1990, the embassies were closed for renovation. There was only one ambassador, that of Hungary. We had only our democratic ideals, the terrible suffering of the persecuted and political prisoners. But these did not prevent us from standing up strongly against a regime that was weakened, but again, as many of you may know, mercilessly killed young people on the borders of Albania. Not only did he kill them, but he returned to the practices of the 50s, where he dragged the corpses of the victims to terrorize the citizens. To prove the true face. But our revolution does not stop. With absolute determination, the democrats of Durrës and throughout Albania continued their battle,

But today, Berisha emphasized, we are in a more powerful monism than that of '91, which exercises all kinds of violence, including technological violence.

"And today, where are we? Today, Durrës and Albania are 32 years away from that period, but we are still in a monism that is absolutely more powerful than in 1991. Today we are in a monism that exerts all kinds of violence on Albanian citizens, including the violence of technologies. more modern. Today we are in a monist that kills the hope of young people every day. Today Albanians are the most hopeless people, because the right does not exist for them, that the law does not exist, that public assets are a curse, that their funds and taxes are stolen and stolen. That they are treated in the most depersonalizing way".

Therefore, the democratic leader emphasized today, PD is in a second revolution to overthrow this monism. He invited the democrats to work for the victory of Igli Cara in the municipality of Durrës.
"We are in a second revolution. We have our freedom and ideals. As missionaries, we are invincible. The only ones who enter the sea on foot and cross it are the missionaries and we are like that. Today, more than ever, we need to protest, to campaign, to be everywhere. Let's continue our battle to overthrow this hateful monism of Edi Rama. Nothing stops us. Today we are stronger than ever. So today I invite you to continue this battle of extraordinary importance for the nation and the country. Let's work for the victory of Igli Cara, for the victory of Durrës. So let's unite and continue our battle. Let's unite with each other, let's unite with the citizens."
