Lost the race in the Primary for the Municipality of Tirana, DP

Doctor Ilir Alimehmeti has been elected head of the Department of Health in the Democratic Party. As the process of elections of department heads continues, last night the process of setting up the Department of Health was completed.

At its head, Ilir Alimehmeti, doctor, lecturer, with outstanding academic contribution and outstanding political and public engagement, was elected by unanimous vote.

Through a reaction on Facebook, Alimehmeti said that thanks to the trust, he will work even harder for the drafting of the local and central health governing alternative.

" I felt honor and responsibility, appreciation and challenge at the same time today when the members of the Department of Health of the Democratic Party unanimously voted me into the position of Leader.

The trust given through the vote by my friends, colleagues and Professors, is a call to work even harder towards the design and support of the local and central health governing alternative.

With the patient in the center and health in focus, every challenge turns into an objective to be overcome with work, effort, faith and cleanliness" , wrote Alimehmeti.
