The Government of Kosovo has officially reacted to Prime Minister Edi Rama's visit to Pristina today, whose agenda did not include a face-to-face meeting with Albin Kurti.
Many accused the latter of not finding time for Rama, but the Government of Kosovo claims the opposite.
Spokesman Përparim Kryeziu says that the Office of Prime Minister Edi Rama was officially invited to participate in the activities for the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Kosovo, on June 12, but received a negative response.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Albania is in Kosovo today, on June 10, where he met with President Vjosa Osmani and participated in the International Conference "Rugova and the West", which is held in honor of President Rugova's political legacy.
According to the spokesperson of the Government of Kosovo, Edi Rama is in Pristina today to fix relations with those he considers necessary.
"Based on the agenda so far, it seems that in Pristina, the Prime Minister of Albania, Rama, is meeting with those with whom he considers that he needs to adjust his relations. On the other hand, Prime Minister Kurti, his office, has invited Prime Minister Rama to the activities marking the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Kosovo on June 12. Prime Minister Rama, namely his Office, has informed us that he will not be able to be present on June 12. He is welcome to join the activities of the state agenda. We wish you to come to the 146th annual Manifestation of the League of Prizren, because the League of Prizren is not only of Kosovo", says the reaction of the spokesperson of the Government of Kosovo.
A reaction that seems to further deepen the crisis in the relations between the two Albanian prime ministers, Edi Rama and Albin Kurti.
