
As of 9:00 am, counters across the country have counted 1,624 ballot boxes out of 5,225 across Albania.
According to official figures reported by the Central Election Commission, the votes in each district translated into mandates, give a picture where the Socialist Party leads by a large number of mandates.
Thus, the Socialists have so far won 83 mandates, with their best results in Tirana, Fier, Durrës and Elbasan.
On the other hand, the coalition led by the Democratic Party has 51 seats.
As for new parties, Tom Doshi's PSD is the third political force in the Assembly with 3 mandates, the "Initiative Albania Becomes" coalition has 1 mandate, while the Opportunity Party has 1 mandate and the Together Movement has one mandate.
So far, 31.07% of ballot boxes have been counted.
