Pusteci is the first municipality in the country to have completed the vote counting for the May 11 parliamentary elections.
According to preliminary results, the Socialist Party has secured 1,054 votes, while the "Alliance for a Greater Albania", the coalition led by the Democratic Party, has received 458 votes.
The difference between the two main forces is 596 votes.
The rest of the votes were divided between small parties and other candidates.
Pusteci thus becomes the first municipality to officially close the counting process, while the counting continues in other municipalities in the Korça district.
