Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the mayor of Pogradec, Ilir Xhakolli, complained about discrimination during the meeting he had with the mayors of the country in the city of Shkodra.
"For the sake of truth, the mayor of Pogradec was the one who complained about discrimination. The mayor of Pogradec is one of the most hard-working, effective, and efficient mayors, and he had a criticism addressed to a ministry for discrimination. I didn't hear anyone else complain. I understand that every mayor would not be a proper mayor if he didn't complain about why we don't get more" , said Rama.
During his speech, Prime Minister Rama said to the political opponents that they do not seem right-wing, but simply elected who do their job and who do not put the cart before the horse, but the horse before the cart.
"We have no reason to look at the mayors, you say right-wing, but it seems to me that they are simply elected who do their job and who, as I said, do not put the cart before the horse, but put the horse before the cart and they are fine and as long as they will do that, they will do the right thing for their community and then their beliefs are their business and not ours.
