During his speech at the Extraordinary Congress of the Socialist Party, Prime Minister Edi Rama had a message with implications for SPAK as well, stressing that Albania is not a republic of prosecutors.

"This is the Republic of Albania, not the republic of prosecutors or judges who are, without question, an independent power from the Parliament and the government, but they are not the only independent power of this Republic, and which also has two other independent powers that do not depend on the judicial power in their decision-making, nor are they accountable to the judicial power for the exercise of their constitutional and legal powers. This is how European justice works and this is the panorama of the future for which we must all work together, institutionally, so that the new justice becomes a European justice throughout the territory, that it is not enough that an individual, another and a else to go before the law even though they have a political costume, but every individual who goes to the doors of the Prosecutor's Office and the Courts in all 28 thousand square kilometers of Albania should be guaranteed that his right is neither sold nor it is not bought, nor taken, nor stolen, and this is the time not to sleep on the laurels of the undeniable results of the work of the new special structure of justice, nor to expect only SPAK to fight corruption in the organization of executive power, but let's not leave the progress of justice out of the attention and care of the Parliament, which should be much more involved in the battle for this progress, the irreversibility and quality of which are vital for the fate of all the overall progress of Albania to which we talked about all day here", said Rama.
