The glacial lakes of Lenia and the peak of Valamara, a common point between Maliqi, Pogradec and Gramsh, are areas with super potential for the development of nature tourism.

This is what Prime Minister Edi Rama says, as he has posted some photos of these lakes on social networks.

"GOOD MORNING, and with a fantastic destination such as the glacial lakes of Leni and the peak of Valamara, a common point between Maliqi, Pogradec and Gramsh, as an area with super potential for the development of nature tourism, I wish you a peaceful weekend." Rasma writes next to the photos.

The three glacial lakes are located about 2200 meters above sea level, near the village of Lenie. The lakes have an average size of 300 meters long and 200 meters wide, with crystal clear cold water. The lakes of Valamara create an interesting ecosystem and also have geological, ecological and cultural values. Valamara is a mountain with a height of 2373 m on the border between the district of Korça, that of Gramsh and Pogradec.
