The meeting in the Presidency between the head of the Government Edi Rama and the head of the State, Bajram Begaj, lasted about 50 minutes.

Prime Minister Rama reacted in a post on social networks where he gave the details of this meeting about why they discussed with President Begajt.

"The meeting at the beginning of the year with the head of state to inform him about the main issues of this governing year, as well as to prepare the meeting of the National Security Council and the changes of ambassadors in our diplomatic missions" writes Rama next to the photo with Bajram Begajn.

Yesterday Prime Minister Rama closed the marathon meeting of over 16 hours with his ministers where he took stock of 2022 and the projects for this year, which is also an electoral year for the local elections of May 14, 2023.

After the meeting with Begaj, today Rama held a meeting with the leaders of the state institutions, while at 13:00 he is expected to gather the leaders of the districts.
