'Zoto paid for Ahmetaj's luxury trips'/ PD: SPAK prosecutors

DP spokeswoman Floriana Garo has accused SPAK prosecutors of committing criminal offenses by hiding evidence and intentionally diverting investigations to protect Arbe Ahmetaj.

In the statement from the blue headquarters, Garo emphasized that Klodian Zoto of the incinerators paid for the luxury trips of Deputy Prime Minister Edi Rama, Arben Ahmetaj, with Albanian taxes.

Garo stated that 'for an independent justice and uncaught SPAK, the fact that the paper owner of the incinerators, Zoto, pays the minister who grants the permits, Ahmetaj, travel and hotels in Europe, would be enough to immediately open the case to high official'.

STATEMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, SPEAKER FLORIANA GARO

Klodian Zoto of the incinerators has served as a tourist agency for the Kanakar minister of Rama and his deputy, Arben Ahmetaj. Tens of thousands of euros were paid with Zoto's credit card for luxury trips to Europe for the former deputy prime minister, his ex-wife and one of his partners. The evidence was made public through a lawsuit in SPAK, but prosecutors Eneid Nakuçi and Klodian Braho ignored it, proving for the umpteenth time that the new justice is in the government's pocket.

For an independent justice and uncaught SPAK, the fact that the paper owner of the incinerators, Zoto, pays the minister who grants the permits, Ahmetaj, travel and hotels in Europe, would be enough to immediately open the case against the high official.

For the prosecutors, no matter how gullible they are, the fact that Zoto i djegase has burned Albanian taxpayers' money, paying for the trips of both the ex-wife and the partner of the minister Ahmetaj, should have been enough. Without having to turn into the moral police, SPAK should have read the flagrant conflict of interest of the former minister.

Even the student of the first day of the first year of Law would read this conflict of interest, this act of corruption, this embezzlement and open theft, except for SPAK prosecutors, who catch the rabbits with the chariot of justice, but not the tiger of government corruption .

The prosecutors had in hand both the telephone records, as well as the emails of Klodian Zoto for the luxury hotels in Europe, as well as the entries and exits in the TIMS system. The evidence is there and their inaction is proof that they too are involved in the scheme. We can't believe they are so incompetent and stupid!

The two SPAK prosecutors have committed criminal offenses by hiding evidence and deliberately diverting investigations to protect the deputy prime minister of Rilindja and one of the founding fathers of the gang of arsonists.

In order to understand the double standard of SPAK, we remind the public that Etleva Kondi, a director in Ahmetaj's department, a mid-level official, has been charged. Meanwhile, the 'tiger with Hermes', women and hotels, paid for by a person who has been in international search for months, enjoys the money of the Albanians, given by Rama for chilies that do not exist.

To understand that prosecutors Nakuci and Braho are not isolated and unfortunate cases, but an example of the fact that SPAK has turned into a system of protecting evil and undermining the public interest, we remind you that prosecutor Alfred Shehu closed the case against his colleagues.

The message is clear: those who protect the untouchables in government become untouchables themselves.

The message of the Democratic Party is unwavering: there is no hole for the rats of government corruption and justice. Sooner or later, they will answer one by one for setting up a system that takes from the Albanians and gives them to a handful of thieves in boots. Those hands that have signed deadly contracts for the state budget and the citizen's pocket, and that wear expensive watches, resulting from the theft of these contracts, will also try the cold metal of handcuffs.

That cost a little, but weigh a lot..
