Prime Minister Edi Rama has again demanded that Sali Berisha be declared 'non grata' by the US. This is after Rama said ironically, they are accusing me of declaring him 'non grata' together with Blinken and Soros.
Rama said that if it turns out that there are no facts about Berisha, he himself will demand accountability for the former prime minister. He recalled a statement by Berisha to former prosecutor Ina Rama, to show, according to him, a case of pressure on justice
" I am talking about a very simple principle. Do not leave anyone on the side I lead when it comes to justice. I'm the first to hear this. Who eats what does not belong to him by eating me in the back has nothing to do with me. For this work to be done since in this party and the leadership of this party not only do we have maximum support then they are staying here.
The pressures here are made by someone else. If you want to know what pressure is, do not go too far and take what was said to a judge. The Attorney General has been called a prostitute. This is pressure. More than pressure. The point here is clearly to catch the horn bull and here it is intolerable. It can no longer go on like this. The statute of limitations applies to those acts of concealment of wealth but not to corruption. "Vetting is not a dismissal ," Rama said.
