After the United States of America, the new president Bajram Begaj has declared Sali Berisha "non-grata", not recognizing him as a former president of the country during the period 1992-1997.

President-elect Bajram Begaj is being advised by his predecessors before officially putting on the head of state's jacket.
General Begaj seems to have chosen to have as a model in his new position, the three former presidents Rexhep Mejdani, Bamir Topi and Alfred Moisu, who a few days ago donated his book of memoirs between "Nano and Berisha" , while such a meeting with former President Sali Berisha was missing.

Bajram Begaj did not invite Berisha to the meeting, as he was declared "non-woman" by the USA. The details from the conversation held yesterday in the Palace of Bigrads with only 3 former Presidents were given by General Begaj himself.

" I want us, together, to gather fraternally for the affairs and challenges of our homeland. Time passes quickly, no one is eternal and no state duty is infinite. But, the valuable lessons of those who have passed our way before should be kept in mind as best they can, and when you are fortunate enough to have them near you, then you can err less. "It is a great honor for me to have such advisors, " said Begaj.
