Hysen Kadiu

Hysen Kadiu is the chairman of the Democratic Party in Kavaja and a candidate for the primaries to be held in this city. According to the party's regulations, he resigned from the post of chairman to participate in this race.

Born and raised in the city of Kavaja, Hysen Kadiu has started his political engagement with the Democrats from a very young age. Under his leadership, the DP in Kavaja managed to win the local elections for mayor, but also to score a high result for the Democrats. In these elections, Hysen will once again prioritize high results in this area.

In recent years, Kavaja has faced increased problems, including the coastline, road infrastructure and connection to secondary roads. As the leader of the DP in this city for years, Hysen Kadiu says that he will seriously engage in the Albanian Parliament to return to Kavaja the administration of public institutions, which have been moved towards Durrës and Tirana, making life difficult for residents.

The race for the Democratic Party primaries will take place in the first days of March, marking an interesting development for the list of candidates with whom the largest opposition party will be represented in the May 11 elections.
