The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha , has returned to the statement that Palestinians from Gaza could be brought to Albania , news that has been rejected several times by Prime Minister Edi Rama as untrue.

In a press conference, Berisha said that four months ago, news circulated among builders in Tirana that 20,000 apartments in the capital would be purchased on behalf of Palestinians who would come to our country.

"What I know is this. 4 months ago, news circulated among builders in Tirana that Edi Rama was going to bring Palestinians to buy 20 thousand apartments. This is absolutely a word spoken by not one, but several builders. When I heard it, I called it fantasy. Then news circulated in the media about bringing 100 thousand Palestinians to Albania. Rama denied it, but how much can you trust Edi Rama? He can do anything for his chair," Berisha said.
