A sentence expressed in the Top Channel interview by former Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka caused many reactions.
"We love the beach so that no one comes from the mountain and pitches our tent there", was the phrase that the socialist deputy used while talking about her husband's investment in Himare.
Today, in an interview for Report TV, Xhaçka said that the phrase was taken out of context with malice.
" I did not say that we are surrounding people from the mountain. I have not seen the comments on the network. But it is still a continuation of malicious comments and speeches taken out of context. They have given it a provincial connotation, it is malicious. I wanted to say that the hotel is at the foot of the mountain .For you to give provincial connotations.Absolutely not.Everyone I know and everyone who has commented on the origin has no more than me.My origin is over 1330 meters above sea level. These are really ridiculous.I feel It's a shame that they maliciously take it out of context ," Xhaçka said.
