The head of LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, invited to ABC, commented on the initiative of a group of opposition MPs, who are gathering signatures for a petition against Ambassador Yuri Kim, which will be sent to the US State Department.

Shehi, describing it as an initiative without a future, says that the opposition should first of all look at its own mistakes, and not deal with the ambassadors accredited in Tirana.

Excerpts from the conversation:

In the last 24 hours, a petition is being organized against the US ambassador to Albania?

Shehi : I say it is an initiative without much future. I would not join you.

Why?

Shehi: I think it is not normal in a country like Albania to organize petitions for a country that is Albania's biggest friend. Is this ambassador better, was she the one who was ahead, or what will come this eats discussion. Now there are people who do good to the ambassador and some others do not. There were people in Albania, ambassadors who were not likeable. This is not the topic we should deal with as opposition.

Berisha was the one who accused the Ambassador?

Shehi: Berisha has this conflict with America because he declared it non-woman yesterday, he has his right. But the Albanian opposition should not be enthusiastic about this path, we have the battle with Rama. We have to solve this our internal situation, we are going back to the time of Enver Hoxha. I understand that the ambassador may not be the most beloved character, but that is it. This is a worthless thesis. I would tell my opposition colleagues to look at it a little calmly, to see a little and you have it, we are not to blame at all, they are beyond our fault. Where we went wrong, where we liked the US.
