The Chairman of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted after Prime Minister Edi Rama's remote clash with the High Judicial Council.
Through a post on social media, Bardhi states that Rama must understand his role before 'distorting' the role of the Supreme Court.
Making accusations against the prime minister, Bardhi states that Rama attacks prosecutors and judges who do not go his way.
Calling Rama anti-law and anti-public interest, he advises the prime minister not to deal with issues he does not understand.
Bardhi's reaction:
Before Edi Rama "distorts" the role of the Supreme Court out of profound ignorance, he would do well to understand its role:
- It's about fighting gangs, not putting them in government; or you're
- It is to economically destroy gangs, not to grant them licenses, tenders, concessions or building permits;
- It is to fight corruption, not to legislate it through projects like incinerators that do not exist;
- It is for the judge's prosecutors to judge; not for him to judge them!
Therefore, before judging judges and prosecutors who do not share his tone or humor, it is good to remember that no Prime Minister in Europe comments on, let alone attacks, specific judges and prosecutors on specific issues.
And he wasted a lot of time on issues that he neither understands nor can understand, because Edi Rama has been portrayed as "anti-law" and "anti-public interest"!
