The Democratic Party appealed yesterday the latest act of the CEC Regulatory Commission, related to the certification of the final result of the parliamentary elections of May 11, 2025.
After filing the complaint with the Electoral College, the latter appointed Lutfije Celami as rapporteur on the opposition's objection.
In the lawsuit, the opposition coalition of May 11, DP-ASHM, requested the reversal of the CEC decision and the non-recognition of the election result, arguing that the process was accompanied by serious legal violations and problems that make it "not free and not fair."
The DP-ASHM requested the Electoral College to amend decision no. 34, dated 28.08.2025 of the CEC, considering the announcement of the final result of the parliamentary elections invalid.
