From Rome to Albania, Rama proposes Evis Sala as Minister of Health

Prime Minister Edi Rama has proposed Evis Sala as Minister of Health.

According to the head of government, she has a rich career from New York to Cambridge and most recently in Rome.

Rama emphasized that it will serve Albania in its efforts to join the EU.

"The Minister of Health comes from New York where she held the position of Professor and Chief of Abdominal Radiology at the University of Cambridge and most recently at the Gemelli Polyclinic and practices the profession of a lecturer in Rome. She will leave Italy to join us as Minister of Health in this historic effort of Albania in the EU, she will also bring the example of successful Albanians to the world."

Evis Sala is also the sister of artist Anri Sala.
