In violation of the law, the Socialist Party (SP) launches the electoral campaign (PHOTOS)

The Socialist Party has launched the campaign for the local by-elections, one day before the deadline set by law. According to the Electoral Code, the electoral campaign is allowed to take place only 30 days before the voting date, which in this case is October 9 and ends on November 8 (electoral silence). The citizens of Tirana will head to the ballot boxes on November 9, 2025. 

But, in total disregard of the law, the Socialist Party and its candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, Ogerta Manastirliu, have begun today (October 8), meetings and presentations in Unit No. 1 of Tirana.

It is not known whether the CEC, which has the responsibility to verify whether the meeting was of an electoral nature, will react to this violation, or will turn a blind eye as it has done on many other occasions.
