The Democratic Party held the Primaries yesterday for the candidates who will compete in the May 14 local elections.

Julian Deda managed to get 157 votes, a disappointing result in these primaries. He reacted through a post on social networks, where he expresses his gratitude to those who voted for him, while adding that the number of votes is not important, but their quality...

Thank you…!

I couldn't make it, but these primaries were really a beautiful race, which I enjoyed endlessly. I have met as many democrats as I could, whom I thank for their kind words, at the same time I apologize to those whom I did not have the physical opportunity to shake hands with. I also thank all my observers, who stayed until the end of a tiring process. Thanks to everyone who believed in me and helped me in this historic race.

It's true, I got very few votes, but for me it's not the quantity, but their quality, the reason why they voted for me. I am sure that they are bio votes, inspiration votes. No one in that party owes me anything, no one was persistently asked, no one was told "vote for Juli because that's the way things are", so they are votes without interest. They are simply votes of the heart. For this I am very grateful.

I believe that I have not disappointed you, I have tried to give beauty, truth, sincerity, and spirit to the race, offering my person as an alternative. I, apart from my family, have no other wealth, only myself, as I am. I believe you understood me. One thing is certain, this was my first race, but by no means the last.

However, the battle continues, it ends on May 14, the day when we will triumph against the country's most corrupt political model.

Once again, thank you very much for everything .
