The Deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji considers the arrest of the Director of IT in the State Police, Ervin Muça, the first result of the work of the Investigative Commission on TIMS data.

Through a reaction on social networks, it was stated that the request of the Prosecutor's Office for the arrest of Muça is a confirmation of the opposition's continuous denunciations.

We remind you that today, four days after the start of the work of this commission, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana issued the measure of "house arrest" for Muça, who is accused of being the person who received the data of the TIMS system.

The TIMS system records every entry and exit of Albanian and foreign citizens at the country's border points.

The arrest of the Director of IT in the state police, the first witness listed in the preliminary plan of investigations of the Investigative Commission, Ervin Muça, is the first result of the work of the Investigative Commission on TIMS data and confirmation of the opposition's continuous denunciations! Edi Rama's denial about the concern of the US embassy about the intervention in the TIMS system, reveals the orderers of this act! The intervention was by order and for clearly criminal purposes!

Today's delayed arrest cannot avoid the confrontation of Ervin Muça and any other offender to face the justice but also the testimony in the commission, for an act that essentially harms the national security! This is the first, we will go to the end of the parliamentary investigation, to shed light especially on the perpetrators of this crime.

I hope that the arrest will not be a trick to prevent the full investigation and bringing to justice the perpetrators, violators of the law and criminals benefiting from this act."

The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana requests "house arrest" and "suspension from duty" for the director of IT, Ervin Muça, who exported the TIMS database of the State Police.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, requests security measure "House arrest" and "Suspension of exercising a duty or public service", provided by articles 237, 242 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for the citizen Ervin Muça, suspected of committing the criminal offense provided for by Article 192/b/2 of the Criminal Code "Unauthorized computer access".
