Yesterday, the Assembly approved the draft law on the amendments to the law " On the Right to Information for the documents of the Former State Security of the People's Socialist Republic of Albania ", as amended.

The Assembly approved with 94 votes in favor and 2 abstentions the draft law "On an amendment to the law no. 45/2015 "On the Right of Information for the documents of the Former State Security of the Socialist People's Republic of Albania", as amended.

Deputies of the Alibeaj group joined the votes with the majority, voting in favor of the law on opening the files. What stands out from the vote is the abstention of two members of the majority, MPs Damian Gjiknuri and Nasip Naço.
