The Assembly has decided to terminate some of the privileges of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, after the decision of the Special Court to place him under "house arrest".

Thus, Berisha will no longer benefit from phone payments, fuel expenses, or per diems.

According to media reports, the decision is due to the fact that the Court, in addition to isolating Berisha at home, also prohibited him from communicating with other people except those he lives with, a measure that was broken several times by the head of Reestablishment, who goes out and gives speeches from the window in front of his supporters.
