At the annual conference, Prime Minister Edi Rama was also asked about the former minister, Ilir Beqaj, and his appointment at the head of SASPAC , at a time when he was under investigation for another charge.

The Prime Minister emphasized the fact that at the first moment that Beqja was charged, he left office and that this is now in the hands of justice.

As for the Agency previously run by Beqja, Rama said that this institution does not manage funds from either the EU or donors.
