The publisher of the writer Ismail Kadare, Bujar Hudhri , again commented on the statement for quick help on the day Kadare passed away.
The head of the National Emergency, Skënder Brataj, rejects Bujar Hudhri's accusations , saying that the ambulance that took Kadare had all the necessary conditions and that the medical aid was given to the writer according to the protocol.
He even addressed the publisher that he "didn't have the glasses to see".
"Mr. Hudhri should not have had glasses because the defibrillator was attached to the patient and the medical team that did the cardiac massage to the hospital, as far as I know, came later after finding him at the scene, they acted according to every protocol to save his life to Mr. Kadare. I don't know if the publisher is able to evaluate a team of doctors or an ambulance. But what I would say is that since he has been in Albania for 4 years, the health team of the Ministry of Health has been at his disposal. In Qerret and in Tirana we have been present as many times as necessary. I have personally been present for everything. From the moment the call was made, the team that is located behind the house Within a few minutes, they found him under arrest. A second team was sent to the scene, thinking that immediate transport was necessary. The first team went down and escorted him to the hospital. I deny any statement that can be made by anyone because I was present myself, I know very well how it was done. The Kadare family itself is a witness who thanked the team", said Brataj to the media.
Skënder Brataj's message: Good evening Ms. Duma , I have been in Kadare's life for the last four years for medical and family reasons, if possible, I should point out the refutation of Mr. Hudhri's accusations, they are very serious accusations for Mr. Kadare's life. I react that it is not as simple as Mr. Hudhri described it. Nothing was missing in terms of protocols, medications and medical devices. Today is not a day of protagonism, the Kadare family is outraged by this statement.
Hurdhi: He will fight with me. I didn't make any accusations, I was telling reporters in an interview, what accusation? I find it rude, hanging...
Meanwhile, Hudhri, who was invited to ' Top Story ', clarified that his statement was not an accusation against the health system, but it was a concern that the ambulances are better equipped.
"I came to talk about Kadarena, not about the ambulance, I have a life with Kadarena and you multiply me with the ambulance. I spoke when I was in line, I was confessing what happened that sad day when I saw her lying down, I did not cry , the ambulance, I went to the driver's seat, who was complaining all the way, no one opened the way, the siren continued, the gentleman who was worried so much would do well not to film the funeral with a live camera I'm not even to get a degree, it was a concern that the ambulances are better equipped. I used to be embarrassed and I knew that he was looking at me, but I'm even more embarrassed," said the publisher of the late Ismail Kadare.
