Analyst Lorenc Vangjeli, invited to the "Opinion" show, commented on the protest held this Thursday by the opposition in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

He said that the success of this protest exceeded expectations, but he was surprised by his statement when he said that this protest was called not only by Sali Berisha, but also by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Asked by Blendi Fevziu how Rama called the protest, Vangjeli reasons that the prime minister has expressed the intentions to protest and that the rise in prices was a strong reason.

Lorenc Vangjeli: This is a protest called by two people.

Blendi Fevziu: Who are these two people?

Lorenc Vangjeli:  Sali Berisha and his enemy Edi Rama.

Blendi Fevziu: Called by Sali Berisha and Edi Rama?

Lorenc Vangjeli:  Yes. The success of this protest, which we all agree is beyond expectations, is not all the merit of Sali Berisha, just as it is not all the merit of Edi Rama.

Blendi Fevziu: What do you mean Edi Rama called him?

Lorenc Vangjeli: Let me explain. I say they both called him. Extremes in this world usually boil over, that's what I'm trying to say. Sali Berisha has won battle after battle, things that seemed impossible. No further than 14 months ago, but it looks like there is still a slim chance of winning the war. 14 months ago he looked like a ruined human being. In September few believed that he could return, he was the object of jokes, of cynics and disappointed all his opponents. In November they hit him with tear gas and today he came out and defeated the heat. This is part of his credit. It rose when no one expected it.

Blendi Fevziu: What was Rama's role here that surprised me?

Lorenc Vangjeli: Rama brought out the three points, the goals of the protest. One of them is the rise in prices, another of them has to do with the imbalance of income distribution, this is true, today Albanians pay much more at the gas station, they pay more for bread and a liter of milk, a liter of the oil.
