Fear of violence/ American Embassy appeals to its citizens: Avoid the November
Sali Berisha in protest

The American Embassy in Tirana has notified its citizens in our country to be careful during the protest that will be held on Saturday, November 12 by the opposition.

NW reaction says that although most of the protests have been peaceful, situations can change quickly and unpredictably, as it asks American citizens to avoid the boulevard "Martyrs of the Nation" during the protest.

"A protest is planned to take place on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, in front of the Prime Minister's Office. This protest has the potential to spread to the surrounding streets, causing traffic jams, diversions and road closures.

US citizens are advised to avoid large gatherings. While many major events unfold peacefully, some situations can change quickly and unpredictably. Monitor local media and follow the instructions of local law enforcement authorities for the latest information," the US embassy said in a statement .

The protest has been warned that it will start at 16:00, but the details of how it will be organized are not yet known.
