The Mayor Erion Veliaj responded to the accusations of the Freedom Party that he has made Tirana unlivable during an inspection at the 'Bashkim Fino' school in the capital.

" There are those who call themselves shopaholics and have nostalgia for the Tirana of the fuksas and confuse Tirana with Kabul. But the reality is that, as these came from other cities and built their lives in Tirana where we were both born, life in Tirana will also be offered for these students who are here, 9 out of 10 will stay in Tirana, they will not return in other cities.

It is senseless to confuse Tirana with Kabul, when you have the problem of former security, but it is racism to say that this Tirana is suffocating us, when you yourself are a success story in this Tirana, you became Prime Minister, President. Tirana was opened for you, it was opened for others ", said Veliaj during an inspection at the "Bashkim Fino" school in the capital.

Veliaj said that even those politicians who have had all the duties of the state for 30 years should learn from the name Bashkim Fino, "which brought us together in the most difficult days, while today even though we are in the best days and there are people who want to divide us, this is not going to happen. How long will we give the children the best schools, we will not be able to anymore".
