The head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, reacted after the post of the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, who compared a photo of Tirana in 1999 and 2021, where he claimed that today the air in the capital is more polluted.

In a post on Twitter, Veliaj writes that it is Meta's right to have nostalgia for Tirana when it was a city of security fuksas, but as it waited for it, it also waited for a million others.

Vealiaj has also published the table with the real statistics where Tirana comes out with good air quality, while according to him, in 1999, it was with Sarra in smoke and flames and with the limes of Kruja as a veil.
