Albanians will learn the name of the new President on Saturday, but do the Socialists or Edi Rama still have this name ?. VoxNews has learned the two names that are being talked about a lot will be the election of the Socialist Party.

Reliable sources for VoxNews said that the two names who will appear before the socialist deputies are Judge Ardian Dvorani and politician Majlinda Bregu.

Today, Damian Gjikunri, the General Secretary of the Socialist Party, stated that today, after the meeting of the presidency, the names of the candidacies for the new President will be given.

"One of the flaws I would point out to the opposition is that it was incapable of discussing names. As long as we are part of a high SP forum, all the names will be discussed there. Do not be impatient, this afternoon you will learn the name of the candidate who will properly perform the role of President. We left it up to the opposition how they would form their negotiating group, to come up with whether they are candidates or with some candidates. We preferred confrontation in front of the media rather than concrete negotiations. It is a missed chance by the opposition, I have nothing more to add. The Ermi of the President will be discussed today in the presidency, where the opinion of the deputies has been taken. Consultations have been held on the right profile that the country needs at the moment. It means that all the names are in consideration, but naturally the negotiating team will decide on the relevant proposals. "We hope and are convinced that we will soon have an elected President", said Gjiknuri.

Who is Ardian Dvorani

Ardian Dvorani was born in Korça, on February 20, 1966. He graduated in law from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Law, in 1988. From 1988 to 1991 he worked as a prosecutor in Shkodra. In the years 1991-1994 he was a legal advisor at INSIG, while in the years 1994-1998 he worked as a lawyer.

In 1998-1999, Dvorani served as legal advisor to the Council of Ministers and then as director of the Codification Directorate at the Ministry of Justice, a position he held until 2005.

Ardian Dvorani u emërua anëtar i Gjykatës së Lartë më 17 shkurt 2005. Më parë, ai ka qenë edhe kryetar i delegacionit shqiptar në GRECO si dhe anëtar i përhershëm i grupit negociator për Marrëveshjen e Stabilizim-Asocimit me Bashkimin Europian për çështjet e drejtësisë dhe ato të punëve të brendshme.

Pas emërimit në Gjykatë të Lartë, Dvorani ka qenë kryetar i Komisionit të Përmirësimit të Vazhdueshëm Profesional të Konferencës Gjyqësore Kombëtare dhe nga nëntori 2005, edhe anëtar i Këshillit Drejtues të Shkollës së Magjistraturës.


Ardian Dvorani ishte ndër të pakët gjyqtar të nivelit të lartë që kaloi me sukses procesin e Vetingut, madje pa asnjë mëdyshje dhe njollë, në të tre kriteret. Duke qenë anëtari i vetëm në Gjykatën e Lartë, Dvorani u zgjodh për dy mandate në krye të Këshillit të Emërimeve në Drejtësi, përkatësisht në vitin 2019 dhe 2020. Mandatin e dytë, Ilir Meta arriti t’ia ndërpriste në mes, në qershor 2020, në bashkëpunim me KLGJ, që pranoi kërkesën e Metës për ta shkarkuar Dvoranin nga detyra. Aktualisht Dvorani është gjyqtar në Apelin Administrativ.

Kush është Majlinda Bregu:

Majlinda Bregu aktualisht është sekretarja e Përgjithshmë e Këshillit të Bashkëpunimit Rajonal për BE. Majlinda Bregu ka lindur më 19 maj 1974 ka qenë ish-Ministre e Integrimit, Kryetare e Komisionit Parlamentar te Integrimit dhe deputete e Partisë Demokratike në Kuvendin e Shqipërisë. 

Arsimimi

Në vitin 1992 ajo u diplomua në shkencat shoqërore në Universitetin e Tiranës[2]. Vitin e ardhshëm ajo ishte një studente vizitore në Montreal (Kanada), Oslo (Norvegji) dhe Frankfurt am Oder (Gjermani). Ndërmjet viteve 1996 dhe 2005 ajo ka punuar si Pedagoge në Universitetin e Tiranës dhe në Fakultetin e Shkencave Sociale me një tezë mbi "Metodat e hulumtimit dhe çështjet gjinore". Ajo mori diplomën master në politikat sociale në Universitetin e Tiranës në vitin 2003.Ndërsa në vitin 2004 mori doktoraturën në Universitetin e Urbinos në Itali me një tezë titulluar "Sociologjia e fenomeneve kulturore dhe proceseve normative".

Karriera

Bregu ishte koordinatore e Politikave Sociale në Komitetin Politik të Orientimit të Partisë Demokratike të Shqipërisë në janar 2004. Më pas në prill të vitit 2004 ajo u bë anëtare e Këshillit Kombëtar të Partisë Demokratike të Shqipërise.

Në vitin 2005 ajo zgjidhet deputete e Partise demokratike te Shqiperise,e me pas ne vitin 2007 ajo emerohet Ministre e Integrimit dhe Zedhenese e Qeverise ne kabinetin Berisha,nje post qe do ta ushtronte deri ne vitin 2013. Ne prill te viti 2018 eshte votuar nga 13 vendet e Europes Juglindore si Serkretare e Pergjithshme e Kshillit te Bashkepunimit Rajonal(RCC).
