The former deputy of the DP, Eleina Qirici, has refused to participate in the "Primaries" for the Municipality of Korça, even though it was proposed by the membership of the branch.

This was announced by Eleina Qiriçi herself through a post on social networks, where she thanked the democrats. She writes that she will be part of the process to ensure a dignified race in the primaries and the victory of the Democratic Party in the May 14 local elections.

We remind you that a day ago, for the PD primaries for the Municipality of Korça, gynecologist Gjergji Gjata announced his candidacy.

Dear democrats and citizens of Korca!

I thank with gratitude and respect each of you who proposed me to the political structures of the Democratic Party Korçē Branch, as a candidate for the Mayoral Primaries!

I gratefully and respectfully thank each of you who wrote or called me to represent you in this contest!
I appreciate you the most!

But, I want to share with you my decision not to run for Mayor of Korça.
Korça MUST be returned to its residents, an END to corrupt tenders and the devouring of properties / environments contrary to the interest of the community.
The local referendum is a must!

Therefore, we will be together in this process to ensure a dignified race in the primaries and the victory of our political force!
November 12 at the Prime Minister's Office!
