The mayor of Lezha, Pjerin Ndreu, has reacted for the first time after the news that thousands of illegal immigrants from Africa will be housed in the municipality headed by him.

In a reaction on Facebook, Ndreu mocks the opposition, calling them "white Aryan race" who are worried about "blacks from Africa".

Despite this language used by him, Ndreu continues by saying that the Africans of Lezha have more chances to come to power than the Albanian opposition.

He further says that Lezha will welcome illegal Africans, and suggests that many citizens "will make money" if they work for their treatment.
