Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Copenhagen, Denmark , where the 7th summit of the European Political Community on security on the continent and support for Ukraine is taking place today.
As he entered the hall where the plenary session was being held, Rama was asked by journalists about the virtual minister "Diella".
He said that it is impossible for him to control the virtual minister, while mentioning some of the services she has provided to Albanian citizens so far.
"My control? Does it mean that I am smarter than the algorithms? This is something new and like any innovation it has to face criticism, which is a good thing. It started as a virtual assistant for public services for citizens and has interacted with nearly 1 million people. It has issued 36 thousand documents so far with the digital seal. Secondly, it is working on the transposition of EU legislation with our legislation within the framework of Albania's negotiations with the EU. Thirdly, it is progressing to work with public tenders," said Rama.
Regarding the country's EU membership negotiations, Rama said that Albania is "running" and that it will soon be a member of the European Union.
"We are not waiting for the EU, we are running very fast. We will be ready very soon and it is up to the great ones in the hall to stop waiting, but to embrace us and support us because we will be an added value for the EU," added the head of government.
