The Socialist Party demands punitive measures for seven opposition MPs who were the protagonists of the physical clashes and incidents created in the Assembly in Monday's session.

It is announced that the 7 deputies are: Gazmend Bardhi, Bledion Nallbati, Flamur Noka, Edi Paloka, Albana Vokshi, Saimir Korreshi and Lefter Geshtenja.

"Faced with an unprecedented situation of the plenary session of 30.10.2023, where the opposition MPs in serious violation of the Rules of the Assembly and the Code of Conduct of the Deputy of the Assembly of Albania, blocked the floor of the Assembly, removed the cards from the electronic devices of the deputies of the SP Parliamentary Group who were registered to discuss the issues identified by the voters. The situation reached a physical collision between the deputy Vullnet Sinaj and the deputy Bledion Nallbati" , states, among other things, in the request.

Yesterday, the plenary session started with chaos and tension and degenerated into a physical clash. The opposition, as it had warned, blocked the floor of the Assembly for several minutes.
