New details from the coded police operation "Poker 2" where 11 people have been arrested.

They were caught red-handed organizing gambling in violation of the law, in a bar on "Andon Zako Çajupi" street. 

The police announced that the owner of the bar, 24-year-old Ylard Lala, an employee of the Albanian Guard, the son of the businessman, Ymer Lala, has also been arrested.

"Ylard Lala managed a bar on Andon Zakon Çajupi street, where during the checks, 7 other people were discovered in flagrante delicto who were playing at the poker table", the police explained.

The police seized 1 poker table and chips, mobile devices and various amounts of money benefited from this activity.

Among the names arrested is Rexhep Noka, grandson of the deputy of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka .

Police Notification:

Services of Police Station No. 2 following the work to crack down on illegal gambling activity, based on the information provided by the information intelligence for a case of exercising this activity, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Poker 2".

As part of this operation, the following citizens were arrested:

- YL, 24 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Organizing or practicing gambling activities in violation of the law" and "Making premises available for illegal gambling", provided for by articles 197 and 197 of the Code Criminal;

– EF, 43 years old, NP, 49 years old, FR, 58 years old, RN, 32 years old, AT, 25 years old, MN, 46 years old, HB, 23 years old, RK, 26 years old, EV, 38 years old, and CM, 56 years old, for the criminal offense "Organizing or practicing gambling activities in violation of the law", provided for by Article 197 of the Criminal Code.

Also, citizens EN, 18 years old, FP, 39 years old, KN, 36 years old, KP, 21 years old, A. Sh., 34 years old, D. Gj., 33 years old, and HD, 35 years old, were criminally prosecuted for the crime criminal offense "Decriminalization of crime", provided by article 300 of the Criminal Code.

During the checks carried out, the Police services have caught red-handed playing games of chance in violation of the law, the arrested citizens, in a bar managed by the citizen YL, while the 7 citizens who were processed at large, were aware of the exercise of this activity, and they have not reported it to the competent authorities.

As material evidence, 1 poker table and chips, mobile devices, and various amounts of money suspected to have benefited from this activity were seized.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
