Eleven people have been arrested by Tirana police after being caught playing poker in a bar on Andon Zako Çajupi street.

Among those arrested is a 24-year-old man, owner of the bar where poker games were held.

Police notification:

It is finalized by police station No. 2, codenamed "Poker 2".

In the flagrant 11 citizens who were caught in the flagrant organizing games in violation of the law, in a bar on the street "Andon Zako Teaupi".

Seven other people are being prosecuted for non-crime.

Sequestration 1 poker table and chips, mobile devices, and various amounts of money benefited from this activity.

The services of police station No. 2, following the work of the illegal gambling activity, based on information provided by the intelligence on a case of the exercise of this activity, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Poker 2".

Within this operation, the citizens were arrested:

- Y. L., 24 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Organizing or exercising gambling activities contrary to the law", and "Making available premises for illegal games", provided for by Articles 197 and 197 of the Penal Code;

- E. F., 43, N.P., 49, F. R., 58, R. N., 32, A. T., 25, M. N., 46, H. B., 23, R. K., 26, E.V., 38, and C. M., 56, for the offense "Organizing or exercising gambling activities contrary to the law", 197 of the Criminal Code.

Also, citizens E. N., 18, F.P., 39, K. N., 36, K. P., 21, A. Sh., 34, D. Gj., 33, and H.D., 35, for the offense "Non-Escalation of Crime", provided for by Article 300 of the Penal Code, were criminally prosecuted.

During the controls exercised, the police services caught in flagrant playing games of chance in violation of the law, the arrested citizens, in a local administration by citizen Y.L., while 7 citizens prosecuted in a free state, had knowledge of the exercise of this activity, and did not report it to the competent authorities.

In the quality of the material test were seized 1 poker table and chips, mobile devices, and various amounts of money allegedly obtained from this activity.

The materials were passed to the Prosecution for further action.
