The 7 tourists from Poland and Germany, who were trapped in the Langarica canyon due to torrential rains, were rescued by the police.

They were trapped in the place called "Pigeon Cave", while exploring the area on foot, due to the increase in the water level in the Langarica river due to the rain.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the services of the Përmet Police Station, in cooperation with the fire services and the services of the protected areas, headed towards the area where the tourists were trapped and made their rescue possible.

All tourists are in good health. They have thanked the Police and other services, for the dedication and humanity shown, as well as for the help provided.
