A serious incident happened in Pogradec.

The police announce that a father shot his son twice, leaving him injured.

The incident took place in the village of Stropckë this afternoon after a momentary family conflict between a father and his son.

The blue uniforms indicate that the 47-year-old with the initials P.Sh. in a drunken state he raped his father, the 83-year-old man with the initials A.Sh.

Then the 83-year-old man took the shotgun and injured his son, who was transported to the hospital for medical help.

The services of the Pogradec Police Station have escorted the 83-year-old to the Police Station for further action.

Also, the Police services have blocked and seized as material evidence the shotgun with which the 83-year-old is suspected to have injured his son.

The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working on the complete clarification of the circumstances and the legal documentation of this event.
