The second part of Rai 3's Report was broadcast today, with the interview of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who insisted to clarify for the public the accusations of the Italian show.
Special attention in this show has been devoted to the construction of the high towers that are being erected in Tirana.
The Italian narrator mentioned some of them, such as the "Exhibition" tower, of Ervin Mata's family, as well as pointing out that only 20% of the total value of money for the construction of the towers was given in the form of loans by banks.
A testimony broadcast on the Italian show is also that of former fugitive vice-prime minister Arben Ahmetaj, who is speaking while having lunch, apparently unaware that he is being filmed.
He accuses Theo of creating links with the mafiosi he uses for elections through Ergys Aggas. Ahmetaj says that these "mafia caps" Rama has been waiting for them in his office.
"They launder the drug money, where all this money comes from. Edi Rama is not only connected, I give you the name of his coordinator, Ergys Aggasi.
Aggas plays the role of coordinator and then uses them for selection. I'm in his office, I never agreed to attend. Characters from Dibra, Durres, Tirana. "They are the mafia," Ahmetaj said.
