The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, through a video message, congratulated the Albanians on the occasion of the New Year 2023. The head of the Democrats said that the year 2022 was the year of the opposition. For this, he thanked all the citizens and sympathizers of the DP.

In his message, Berisha emphasizes that Prime Minister Edi Rama is more isolated than ever. Berisha called for commitment and commitment that "the year 2023 will be the year of the Democratic Revolution and the salvation of Albania". In the end, the chief democrat raised a toast to all the citizens and said that today our country needs our love and trust more than ever.

Berisha's message:

Dear citizens, democrats and democrats, Albanians and Albanians wherever you are today. On the eve of the New Year, I would like to sincerely wish you a Happy New Year 2023, wherever you celebrate today, in your family homes, in bars, clubs, travel, hospitals, penal institutions. May you always have joy and goodness.

Today we celebrate, we give love to each other, gratitude, respect, admiration, but we are undeniably aware that every young person, every student, every businessman, every worker, every employee, every farmer who lives by sweat and toil his face a bumpy year during 2022.

A year in which the most important features written on the walls of time will remain, firstly the establishment of complete monism after 31 years in Albania based mainly on crime, drugs and vote theft.

Secondly, 2022 is the year of the theft of the Albanians by their government. Edi Rama has been trumpeting for three days that he will distribute 80 million Euros after the New Year. This is an electoral pill, but the truth is that every Albanian, due to the theft that has been done in the government boards, spent more than one salary on his food and medicine during the year 2022.

Therefore, the minimum of correctness, of humanity in this case required a 13th salary, a 13th pension, a 13th economic aid, but these cannot happen because hundreds of millions are stolen to inflate the bank accounts of Edi Rama and our governors. Hundreds and hundreds of millions are wasted, abused. As it turns out, 122 billion ALL were stolen in 9 months, that is 1.3 times more than the total salary fund of Albania.

But the year 2022 can be considered the year of the opposition and I want to wish the base of the Democratic Party great humility. Those men and women who with their intuition understood what existential danger threatened the Democratic Party and courageously, decisively fought in its defense.

I humbly wish to congratulate and thank all the members and supporters of the Democratic Party, who gave Albanians the Primaries at a critical moment for their democracy. They planted the free vote again. They returned the free vote to the Democratic Party with the greatest determination to restore it to the entire Albanian society.

I want to thank infinitely those hundreds and thousands of Albanian citizens, democrats, socialists, without parties who filled the squares and streets of Tirana in the second half of this year and proved that they are the real moral masters of this country. I have a special gratitude for all my followers, sympathizers, fans on social networks, in particular those of TikTok who with that support electrified the youth and the truth is they also electrified Sali Berisha.

Pra viti 2022 ishte një vit që ngriti në këmbë opozitën shqiptare. Një mirënjohje të pakufijshme për të gjithë qytetarët shqiptarë, të cilët e ndoqën me simpati, me dashamirësi ketë zgjim të fuqishëm të opozitarizmit në Shqipëri. Edi Rama sot është më i izoluar se kurrë. Ai kudo që shkon pritet me ‘Rama ik’, ndërmer dhe në prag festash akte çnjerëzore. Nxjerr familje, burra, gra, të moshuar, fëmijë nga banesat e tyre vetëm e vetëm që këto akte t’i mbulojë me atmosferën e festës, por këto le t’ia lejmë vitit 2022 dhe të angazhohemi e zotohemi ne, se viti 2023 do të jetë viti i Revolucionit Demokratik, viti i shpëtimit të Shqipërisë.
