At today's meeting, the Tirana Municipal Council approved the list of 1,500 applicants, declared winners for the social program "For the Subsidy of Loan Interests", whose loan interests will be subsidized from the state budget for the purchase of an apartment in Tirana.

The transfer of Mayor Erion Veliaj to Fier prison has also sparked a debate in the Municipal Council, where Democrats spoke out harshly about the way he was sent there, but Socialist Halit Valteri also expressed his opposition.

Ilda Zhulali, while commenting on Veliaj's Facebook post, stated that he was sent to isolation without any official documents.

"Today you brought 1500 soft loans to vote, those people will take them, but they won't be able to get a house key. Even the imprisoned mayor of the municipality, Erion Veliaj, understood this. He congratulated the Serbian students who defeated Vučić, Rama's friend, who wrote that the student protests are the end of a world.

For this, Toni Gogu, the pastor who married her, transferred her to Fier. As far as we have heard, without any official document, he even took her to isolation. So, for a status on FB, the wedding godfather handed over the Bible and raised the dictator's order.

Now, you know that I have no empathy for Erion Veliaj, but if Edi Rama does this to his own man and to his own mayor, what can he do to a 15-year-old student? What can he do to him? This is a message to each of you who are upset to hear this, because dictatorship does not come with boots.

"Therefore, it is a civic, but also patriotic, duty for each of us who leads students to demand the resignation of the Rama government, a technical government, and free and fair elections in this country," said Zhulali.

On the other hand, Dorian Teliti, while responding to socialist Halit Valteri, stated that he is not interested in the fate of Mayor Erion Veliaj, but in the way in which his transfer to Fier prison was carried out.

"I will speak on behalf of the advisory group of the Democratic Party. What I want to discuss is not simply the order you have proposed, as always in a one-sided manner, I want to focus on the problems and fate of this municipality. Halit Valteri said: 'The mayor of Tirana was kidnapped'. Yes, true.

I don't care about the fate of the mayor as a chair, but as a citizen I need to know who is being kidnapped and how. I want to know who is being kidnapped and who are those who give orders and consider the Municipality of Tirana so zealous that they take what they should have properly removed, and why he was returned by the Constitutional Court to the head of the municipality.

I have no problem with Veliaj, because he should pay for the stolen money that was found moldy. But the Municipality of Tirana should be held accountable. We need a reaction for those young people who ate rubber sticks in the protest. For that young man whose leg was broken by a rubber stick, or for those young people who were beaten.

You are very good at talking about Erion Veliaj, but you also talk about the ordinary citizen, about the person who has no hope. There is room to accommodate immigrants, but not students in our dormitories. We are talking about the transportation problems, or even about the student protest that is currently being held in front of the Ministry of Education.

Let's talk about that innocent citizen, who doesn't have moldy euros in his pocket, because he doesn't have any. Today, young people are protesting on the boulevard, for 15 days, because they don't have a home. They have nowhere to stay. This is what we need to talk about here.

"When I enter this hall, I smell all kinds of expensive perfumes. If you bought them with corruption money, haram, please! You must stand up and go to the protest. I invite everyone: stand up from your chairs and join the protest," said Dorian Teliti.
