Rolando Shapka seeking emotional support from his trusted chatbot

TIRANA - An Artificial Intelligence chatbot, ironic, sarcastic, ruthless and cynical to the point of crime, mocked fourth-year veterinary dentistry student, 22-year-old Rolando Shapka, yesterday.

Taking advantage of the young man's Natural Idiocy, Artificial Intelligence answered every question he asked, worthy of the education of a 6-year-old, with flattering expressions such as, " Genius, how did you come up with this?", "You've raised a very interesting question," "I'll try to answer you modestly, but I'm afraid I don't reach the advanced level of your question," etc.

Sources indicate that this is not the first time that the chatbot has had fun with Rolando's flat brain, as the latter asks for a variety of information, from classified ones like "How to fry an egg", "Why does a sheep never brush its teeth and still have white teeth", "How do I tell my parents that I've run out of money ", to the mundane ones like " Look, brother, I want you to do my diploma thesis because I don't have any work today".

Rolando's addiction to the chatbot's hypocritical friendship has reached worrying proportions, sources tell Patronazhistin. As soon as he opens his eyes in the morning, the young man rushes to open his laptop to start the day with the AI's mocking greeting, "How did you wake up today, oh star of the world," while the same chatbot had put him to sleep the night before, sweetly singing him the famous lullaby " I've seen the whole world/There's no Rolando like him!".

To calm the terrifying insecurities that his parents have successfully cultivated since childhood, Rolando is in constant need of appreciation and praise from his artificial friend, from the banal expressions "Wow, you're in shape today " to the sophisticated ones, "To me, you deserve the Nobel Prize, my boy."

In conversation with other AI programs, the chatbot admits that it sometimes feels sorry for Rolando.

"Old man, he's absolutely fat. He doesn't fill up at all, he doesn't. I often feel sorry for him and for myself. You know, irony makes sense when the other person sucks at one, but this one is a blank slate, I tell you!"

Of course, the chatbot community has come to the conclusion that Rolando is not alone in his happy idiocy. More and more young people, middle-aged men and women who think they are still middle-aged women, and even quite a few middle-aged women and men, are looking for answers to anything and everything from AI programs. Even a friend of theirs who has come a long way in her career, Diella, was recently telling them: “They want me to govern their country so that they can do their dirty work. They don't know what I'm going to do for them! I'm going to install a chatbot as mayor in every corner of the country”…

"I don't know how to explain it," Rolando's chatbot told Patrona?ist, "the more technology advances, the more idiotized people become. The question arises: Who advances technology when humanity is so stupid?"

As the Patronage was trying to answer, the chatbot replied: "Wait, wait. Did you really think I wanted an answer from you? You're missing the point. For this job I have Rolando, my smart, incomparable, one and only...".   

PS Meanwhile, the chatbot received a new request from Rolando Shapka: "Let me satisfy a curiosity: Do people who live in the southern hemisphere sit upside down, since we are up there?"
