The Minister of Justice, Toni Gogu, has ordered the inspection of 24 prisoner transfers carried out over the last 11 days, which the Prisons Directorate announced were carried out from October 16 to 27.

A reliable source told Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha that this inspection also includes the transfer of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj.

For the latter, the department will request information on the procedures followed.
