The Committee on Human Rights and Public Media held their meeting online, where Socialist Party deputies were not present in the hall.
Iris Luarasi, Ardit Bido, Piro Dhimo, Ramion Kurti, Kiduina Zaka, Etleva Budini, Alma Selami, etc., held their discussions online, while the opposition boycotted the Commission.
MP Luarasi held her discussion from home, where she initially focused on the violent protests in Tirana, the behavior of minors and protest participants.
"The presence and use of minors in violent protests. The right to protest is sacred, in a democracy, young student representatives have the right to raise their voices, to demand more from the state and from us. No police officer has the right to exceed the law, every case of excess must be investigated, whoever did wrong must be investigated. When we see 14-16 year old children on the front lines of clashes between stones, Molotov cocktails and tear gas, we must admit that a red line has been crossed. We have seen an attempt to set institutions and businesses on fire, in such a scene a child should not be a shield for anyone," she said.
She called on her opposition colleagues to return to participation in Parliamentary Committees.
Piro Dhima voted on the articles in principle by machine, while Bido and some of his colleagues were in their offices.
