One of CNN's anchors, Sara Schinder, recently tearfully confessed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Sara began with a request telling viewers to think of 8 women they love in their lives.
"Count these women on your fingers. Statistically, one of them has or will get breast cancer. I have never been sick a day in my life. I don't smoke, I rarely drink. No one in my family has had breast cancer. And yet here I am, with stage three cancer. It's hard to say out loud.

Breast cancer is no longer a death sentence for most women. For all my sisters, white and black, please do a mammogram every year," said the journalist with tearful eyes and a trembling voice.
"What happened to me is something I could never have predicted. I'm learning that no matter what hell we go through in life, I'm still madly in love with this life. I am happier because I no longer stress over the little, silly things that used to annoy me. And now every day that I take a breath, I am happy that I am still alive with you, my colleagues, my family and we can laugh, cry and hope. And that, my friends, is enough," she said through tears.
Sidner revealed that she will enjoy everything, beauty and joy in life because life is too short. "I am living and I want to live, because I know that life can be short. I don't know how this will end, but we have the ability to enjoy every moment, as long as we breathe," Sinder concluded.
